Mu Sigma Consulting was founded by these five Alpha Kappa Psi members who make up the Alpha team. Their main goal was to provide management, marketing and financial consulting services to non-profit organizations throughout San Diego.

They met with multiple non-profit organizations and decided to work with Bayside Community Center in the Linda Vista area. They have established a long-term restructuring plan that is helping revitalize their Senior Program and turn the program into a financially sustainable and value-adding program.

The Alpha team presented the community center with a one-to-two year road map in December 2007. The road map detailed initiatives that would assist Bayside in evaluating and possibly reorganizing their Senior Program’s class offerings and outlined development of a marketing plan for the program.
