Alpha Kappa Psi - Mu Sigma

Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest co-ed business fraternity in the United States. In 1900, New York University began offering degrees in the fields of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance. On May 20, 1905, the Ten Founding Fathers applied to the State of New York to grant a charter to their organization, Alpha Kappa Psi. Thus began the tradition of enhancing the education of thousands of business students nationwide. Nearly a century later, Alpha Kappa Psi has grown to a membership exceeding 175,000 in 260 chapters within the United States and United Kingdom.

Mu Sigma is the San Diego State University chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. Formed in 1986, Mu Sigma has been consistently recognized as one of the premier chapters in the fraternity.

Join Us For Rush 2010

This semester for Spring 2010 from January 25th – February 5th we will be having our two rush week period. During those two weeks we can be found at the Student Services walkway towards the Business Building at our table. Our eight rush events are from January 28th – February 5th and further information can be found when you click on the rush events listed. A Message From Our President

Hello and welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Psi, Mu Sigma Chapter at San Diego State University. As President of the 2010 semester, I would like to thank you for taking the time to explore our website and learn more about our fraternity. Alpha Kappa Psi is a Professional co-ed business fraternity, recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders. This organization is the oldest, largest, and most recognized business fraternity. Our chapter here at San Diego State has over 80 very active and diverse members from all different majors. We strive to exercise Alpha Kappa Psi's five core values on a regular basis: brotherhood, knowledge, service, integrity, and unity. Our goal is to instill these into you as well!

Our core values have enabled all of us in the fraternity to grow into diligent and professional individuals. Each and every one of us has become a part of a professional network of successful and ambitious people for the rest of our lives.
