I pledged for Alpha Kappa Psi my first semester of my freshman here at SDSU. Throughout my entire life I had been involved in numerous clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities. I used to think that I knew what it takes to become successful and I thought that I attained many of those skills. However, once I started pledging AKPsi I realized I had A LOT to learn. AKPsi has helped me not only become a better person professionally, but personally as well. One fear I had coming to SDSU was finding those people that I "clicked" with and making friends. Pledging for Alpha Kappa Psi was exactly what I was looking for in college. After so many business classes I was ready to put into practice what I had learned. Alpha Kappa Psi is an organization full of opportunities for its members to take advantage of. There is something for everybody; whether your a business major or a biology major. I can't explain how much it has helped me with time management, resume building, public speaking, interview skills and even being a better student.
